Winterton Kids : Back to School
A couple weeks ago my friend and fellow photographer Sandy emailed me about taking some fun back to school portraits. We have wanted to get together for for a while to shoot. Here are some of my favorites that I took that day. You can see some of hers here!
He was such a cutie. Almost all of the pictures I took of him his tongue was sticking out at me!

She is a little rock star

I asked her if she liked Hannah Montana and she started dancing! So cute!

Ok… here is their mom. Can you say knockout!

The girls

I had such a fun time hanging out with Sandy and taking pictures of such cute subjects!
Paige is 1!!!
I can’t believe it is finally here! Paige turned 1 year old today! This past year has just flew by! Here are some shots from todays birthday bash for her!
A few details from the party

The birthday girl. She only kept the cute “brain-squeezer” on for a few minutes. It was cute while it lasted!

Her own little personal birthday cake.

For me???

Love the expression!

She was actually allowed to get messy!

And typical Paige…when she was done she threw it on the floor.

I normally never post pictures of me on the blog but since I was having an exceptional hair day, I thought “Oh what the heck! Why not!!!” A little mommy-daughter time. Even after a year it is a bit surreal to see this picture and realize I am a mom!!!

Here is the present Alex and I gave Paige. A pink 4 wheeler! Too Cute!

I love my baby girl so much! Happy Birthday Paigey!!!
Marissa & Justin : the 08.08.08 wedding
Marissa and Justing got married on the lucky 08.08.08! I was really excited for their wedding but a little worried about how busy the Salt Lake Temple was going to be. It actually wasn’t to bad though, besides the rain! Luckily it only rained for a few minutes. Here are my favorite shots
This picture may need some explaining… this group of Japanese tourists were touring Temple Square and the stopped Marissa and Justin to ask if they could take pictures of them! It was so funny!
Loved the shoes!
Marissa’s brother Kenny is one of my favorite kids! Their family lives right next to my parents, so Kenny is over at my mom and dad’s house all of the time. I think he is the funniest kid ever!
Alex took this picture. Isn’t it amazing!!! This is straight out of the camera! Love it!
The bridesmaids would strike a pose every time the camera would even come close to them! I loved it!
Harry and Diane : the wedding
Harry and Diane’s wedding was a last minute booking and I am so excited I was open for the date. I am always a little nervous to meet the bride and groom for the first time on the wedding day, but Harry and Diane were awesome! I had a great time!
Some details from the day

Killer shoes!
I have never see two people more excited to be getting married. At one point the bride actually jumped up and down a few times in anticipation! It was adorable!
The new Mr & Mrs!
This kid was a Stud with a capital S! Don’t you love the flipped collar and faux-hawk!
I laughed out loud when I came along this picture. The groomsmen were so funny!
The grooms friends were a bit rowdy, but I loved it!
Thanks Harry and Diane! Congrats!
Mike & Misty : the engagement
Mike and I have known each other since Jr. High School, so when his fiance Misty called me about doing their wedding I was pretty excited. I am really excited how their engagements turned out. How could they be bad! The are both so good looking! Their wedding is next month and I am sure it will be awesome!
Favorite shot!
Misty has a little girl Jayden who they wanted to include in their engagement session. I am so glad they brought her!
I love this one of Jayden giving “Michael” a hug. ( that is what she calls him! Not Mike…Michael!)
Don’t you love the cookie n her lips and in her hand.
Jayden and Mom
I love this shot! Mike is so cute with Jayden!
Thanks for a fun evening! Can’t wait for the wedding
Disneyland with Grandparents
Paige has now been to Disneyland twice before her first birthday. Some may think ‘ok Disney Freaks’ which we kinda are, but the real truth is we love the feeling we get when we are there, and Paige LOVES it. I know it sounds so cheesy but Disneyland really is one of the Happiest Place on Earth! This trip was also special because we went with Alex’s parents. Just the 5 of us. It was such a fun and relaxing trip. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel which is worth the extra money it costs. Everyone who loves Disneyland should stay on property at least one in their life. It is a truly different experience. Thanks to Grandma and Papa for letting us come!
Paige loved the Aladdin show. She clapped and bounced the whole time. It was so cute!
She met all of the princess. Belle was so sweet to her.
But tears will always be there at some point
Paige LOVED the characters, especially Tigger. Here are her adventures in Critter Country!
Here is Paige Papa and Grandma helping out Mike and Sully rescue Boo.
She makes me so dang mad!!! She wouldn’t keep a bow or headband or mouse ears on her head, but this ugly pirate hat mad her so happy! Doesn’t it look charming with her Snow White dress? She is a character!!!
Eating at Blue Bayou. Another thing that must be done at least once!
See how she is trying to rip off the mouse ears!
Paige loves swimming! Check out my awesome tan line.
Paige loving daddy
She was so sad here. Not sure why
She got happy again when we rode that carousel.
I have two really great engagement sessions to blog so stay tuned. Hopefully one will be up by today!
Dax
The other day my good friend Jazlyn called me and wanted some pictures of her little boy. I was so excited to do them because, for one, I never get to see Jaz anymore and I miss her like crazy, and two, we always have a blast together so I knew the session would be fun. Plus I haven’t seen Dax for almost a year!
Jazlyn’s family is big into rodeo so she wanted to do a few at the farm. Is he not the cutest boy you have ever seen!
Little wranglers! How cute is he!
Another reason I was excited to go over was so Paige could meet Daxtyn. They had fun together. It was so cute!
Dax and Mom. Is Jazlyn not the cutest thing you have ever seen?
What a little stud. I love the collar flip.
Rodeo Star in the works. This is just about the only smile I got from him the whole day.
I love the next two with the hay in his mouth. He is just so cute!
Thanks Jaz for letting me take some pics of your kid. We need to hang out more so Paige and Dax can be friends. Love you!
Bridget’s 1st Birthday
Last weekend we all wnet out to branda and James’ house for Bridget’s first birthday. She is such a sweet little baby! It was so much fun.
This is my cousin’s baby Eli. Hello cute!!!
Why is my baby the messy one!?!?!
Birthday Girl!
Grandma Trenna getting in the water fight action!
Again, my messy baby. Do you see the grass on her lips! Too funny!
Why do we even buy toys for babies when plasitc cups will do.
Cake time!
Messy baby! James was dying!!! He hates messes!
Holy crap! Paige went after some cake!
Layce & Clay : the engagement
This engagement session was so much fun. Layce use to work for me at Cheer Tyme, so we had a few laughs during the shoot. Their wedding in September is going to be a blast!
I found a new killer location. Technically we were ‘trespassing’ but since we were not stealing or vandalizing I kind of ignored the sign. It was so worth it!
This is how they were all day! It was pretty funny!
