24th of July
If you are reading this outside of Utah (and you are not Mormon) you will probably never heard of the days of ‘47 of the 24th of July Celebration. The 24th of July is the day the Mormon Pioneers arrived in the Salt Lake Valley, so every year Utah shuts down in honor of them.
Yesterday Alex had the day off, so we spend the whole day together. Here is the evidence (p.s. these were all taken with our canon point and shoot):
Paige really wanted to drive to Vernal. She was so pissed when I put her in her car seat!
Daddy and Paige at the Vernal Temple
This lady saw us taking pictures at the temple so she stopped and took one of all of us. It was so sweet!
Paige watching the fireworks and liking them…
Paige not liking the loud, crackling fountains. Too funny!
Happy 24th of July everyone! I am off to SLC for Bridget’s 1st birthday party!
Blogging that and Jacques and Cory’s wedding next week!!!
