Billie & Dalton : the wedding
Billie and Dalton’s wedding took place at a vineyard in Palisade CO called Amy’s Courtyard. I was so excited to visit someplace new! It was so beautiful there. . . who knew there was wine country in Colorado! I thought they only drank Coors in Colorado! LOL! It was so great!
The rings were amazing
I am not sure why Billie’s son Cole was wearing a football helmet, but it was super cute!
This little kids couldn’t wait for the cake!
Cole again. Handsome kid!
A little bit of tango
Congrats Billie and Dalton!
Jacque & Cory : the engagement
The old drive-in in Roosevelt has recently been one of my favorite places to shoot. I have wanted to do some shots on the marquee for a while but never knew how to pull it off. Jacque (my sister-in-law) works at the drive-in during the summer and her boss happened to be there when we were taking pictures and she suggested putting their names on the marquee. I was flippen’ stoked! Congrats Jacque and Cory!
My favorite shot of the day!
These next shots were taken from inside the marquee base. I love the old, gritty, vintage look to them!
We spent so much time at the drive-in and we were running out of daylight. We decided to take some prettier shots at Gorky Park.
Love the backlighting!
We are going to take a few more engagement shots later since we ran out of sun! Congrats both of you and welcome to the family Cory
Mike the Headless Chicken Festival : WHAT????
Last weekend Alex and I were in Grand Junction, CO for a wedding. Since it was an evening wedding we decided to hit the town in the morning. In the neighboring town of Fruita there was a festival going on… the Mike the Headless Chicken Festival. It was kind of weird and quirky but alot of fun!
Crazy huh!
There was a car show at the festival. They were so fun to take pics of!
Here are the ones Alex took. Alex is a car guys so he was loving it!
McLayne : Class of 2008
I met McLayne’s mom (who happened to be my husbands 4th grade teacher!) when I was taking pictures for the USU graduation. She graduated with her Masters Degree! More of that to come later!
McLayne played Golf and Baseball during high school so we thought it would be fun to highlight both of the sports. I love the way they turned out!!!
I love this golf club cover! A CATFISH! It was so funny!
This is my mom’s new car! Killer huh! McLayne wanted to take a picture by it. He told his friends it was his graduation present! It is the cutest dang car and a BLAST to drive!
I think it is awesome that McLayne and his mom both graduated this year! Congrats both of you!!!
Now to some casual shots!
One of my fav shots of the day…
Congratulations!
California/Disneyland 2008 : it’s about time!
It has taken me a month but I finally did it! Here are some of the cute picture from Disneyland and Laguna Beach. Paige is about the sweetest baby in the whole world! She LOVED the Princesses at Disneyland! She was sure hamming it up!
I know I don’t need to say it but I will…dang she is cute!
Again…cute!
Ariel is normally Paige’s Favorite, but she didn’t really even smile at her. Maybe she was star struck! ha ha ha!
We went to the Princess Fantasy Faire twice and both times Sleeping Beauty was there. It was so cool though because the second time we came she was really excited to see Paige! She said “Paige! You came back to see me!” I couldn’t believe she remembered her…but was amazed that she remembered her name! It was really cute!
I love this picture. If you minus out the drool on Paige, this looks like a pic that could be in a Disney ad! Paige is such a drooler!!!
What a HAM! Isn’t Pocahontas pretty!
She didn’t like Mickey as much. i think it is because he didn’t talk to her.
Drivin with daddy in Mickey’s Car. Paige was lovin’ it!
I don’t know why I love crying pictures so much, but I do! Paige crying is so cute and sad!
We took these in my favorite spot in all of Laguna Beach…Peppertree Lane It is so quaint! I love it! This picture melts my heart
I am so lucky to have married such a wonderful man who loves Paige so much. Can’t you just see how proud he is here. Dang now I am crying!
A cute little family pic!
Kelli! I love this pic of her. I think she looks so beautiful!
I also have some family pics that Amelia Lyon took for us. I will post them in a few days! They are so killer!!!
Jack : Graduated (Pre School!)
My brother called me this morning to invite me and Paige to Jack’s program at his pre-school. I was so excited! I just love my little Jack! I didn’t know that it was his pre-school graduation! I think it is so funny when they celebrate kids graduating from pre-school, kindergarten, elementary etc… But all of the kids were so excited!
So Congrats my little Jacky Boy! Great Job in pre-school
Jack telling the class what his favorite thing in pre-school was. His favorite thing was going to Vernal to Old McDonalds (McDonalds) and to see the dinosaurs and fish on their field trip.
That is one cool dude!
My favorite shot of the day
3 Years : Life is Bliss
Alex and I have been married for 3 years today! I can’t believe it has been 3 years!!! Wow! I thought it would be kind of fun to post some pictures from our wedding.
I thought it would eb funny to take some pictures by the big pink dino! I still love taking pics there!
This is such a special picture to me. It is of me and Papa who passed away 7 months after my wedding. He was my very best friend, and this picture brings me to tears almost ever time I look at it.
Alex. I love you so much more every day! Thanks for being an amazing husband and friend!
Courtney & Cameron : The Engagement
I am always a little nervous to do engagement sessions when I have never met the couple, but as soon as I met Courtney and Cameron the nerves melted away. They were so sweet and super easy to take pictures of! They remind me so much of Alex and myself it is crazy!!!
This is the first shot out of my camera that day!
They had a special request for this picture. This is the very spot where Cameron asked Courtney to marry him!
The sign said ‘NO TRESPASSING” but how could I pass up amazing colors like this!!! And since we were not there to vandalize the property I am sure it was fine!
I have always wanted to take a picture by this sign in Vernal! I love the fun look of this one!
Courtney and Cameron, thanks for an amazing e-session. I can’t wait for your wedding in June!
