***Edited to add Happy Valentines Day!  I didn’t even really remember about it.  We were driving around Miami and I said to Alex “why the hell is everyone in this city wearing red?  Is there a Heat game tonight?”  Obviously Alex and I didn’t do much for Valentines this year.  We were both very happy to be leaving 3 feet of snow.  What better present could there be?***

Today we headed south to Miami.  We first went into downtown Miami to find the Hard Rock Cafe to get a pin.  It took us a while to find the place because Miami is really confusing to drive in.  We eventually found it in a shopping center right on the harbor.  We walked around there for a few hours and decided to eat lunch at Hooters.  Funny huh.  It was actually my idea, not my husbands.  The  ’I went there for the wings’ excuse was actually true today!  All of the waitresses loved Paige.  They were all really nice.

After shopping and eating we set out to find South Beach. An hour and a half and a $4.50 map later we got there.  I am telling you Miami sucks to get around in!  South Beach was pretty cool.  The Art Deco was awesome!  I have always loved that architecture.  There was a lot of bright colors and interesting people there.  We found some killer spots to take pictures of and a yummy gelato place.

I think Paige’s eyes in this picture are so funny!  She is so cute! 

Here is the yummy gelato.  I got Mint Chocolate and Passion Fruit (weird combo I know!) and Alex got Pineapple and Lemon.  They were all so good but my favorite was the Passion fruit.  I have never tasted it before and I loved it!  Isn’t Paige’s face priceless in this picture!
